The Babysitter Information
Book was developed soon after we moved out of state. We had no family
to help with babysitting our 3 kids and had to depend on people we hardly
new. The book allowed us to share critical information with a sitter
about our home and children. We knew she had the information she needed to
handle almost any situation and our kid's couldn't argue with her
decisions because they had our instructions in writing! Since everyone
knew the rules before hand, the night was much easier on all of us. The
babysitter also knew how to reach us and where we would be at all times.
Keeping our children safe is
every parent's number one concern. The more information you have, the
safer your kids will be.
A babysitter, especially one who has not spent much time in your home,
will not be prepared for an emergency without
readily available information.
The Babysitter Information Book is peace of mind for parents and
babysitters. Emergency information, phone numbers, and instructions are
kept in one handy book for quick reference.
Organizations from the Red Cross to the
Center for Missing and Exploited Children recommend this type of
information be available to anyone watching your children.
The Babysitter Information Book also
includes pages for facts your sitter needs for a successful job. Leave no
doubt as to what you, your kids or the sitter expects. Give the sitter all
the information needed to handle any situation, from what the kids can or
cannot watch on TV to snack foods and bedtimes.
Each Babysitter Information Book
contains multiples of all the forms. This allows Parents to use different
sitters and update information as needed.
Babysitters who use the Babysitter
Information Book as a job tool will be able to keep information on several
families for future use. The Babysitter Information Book
comes in an easy-to-handle 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 size with 5 tabbed
sections. The cover is laminated to protect against spills and the
occasional use as a coaster (I have a husband and 3 kids, so I know!). The
book is wire bound so the cover and pages can be flipped back.
